Country Whites Weekend!

Welcome first day of winter, and the fun from Old Time Farmhouse and The Country Farm Home sharing our old whites that make home so special.

Looking around at the treasured whites that have been with me for years, is a comfort like an old friend, a hug from a loved one and cozy throw on a cold winter morning.

From Grandma's sewing basket holding a special place in my heart. A place that can be visited from time to time.
Christmas Cards placed in a vintage Chamber Pot from England.
Pitcher Row, topping a shelf and accented with vintage bell ornaments.
From Italy, a cherished old white ironstone pitcher.
Oval platters a loved collectible.
A true favorite created by my mother. Her gorgeous pitcher and bowl all in white she loved.
From the boxes of clothes detergent in the 40's and 50's my grandmothers white bowl collection. I adore a stack of bowls.
And from childhood memories, this very large 18" round bowl that held homemade pasta made by my grandmother. Retired to the top of my vintage hand painted armoire holding roses, and certainly well loved.
Old white chairs just make my heart sing and I have them here and there everywhere!
What old farm whites do you treasure?

I'll be by to visit and see.
Thank you for stopping by.

Wishing you a wonderful first day of winter.
and

Merry Christmas,
Celestina Marie

Oh my, you have some wonderful old white treasures. I love them! I even have the same white platter as the one in the 8th photo down. It was my mother's. I love that she collected and saved so many of her dishes and now I have them to enjoy. Merry Christmas. Blessings, Pamela

Celeste, thank you so much for stopping by my movie blog the other day. It was such a joy to hear from you.

I love all your whites! They're beautiful! I spied your beautiful hand-painted roses on the armoire...gorgeous as always.

You know what I like about this first day of winter?! It means that the daylight hours will now begin to lengthen again. This light-lovin' gal NEEDS the sunlight!

Love and hugs,
Patti

Hi Celestina, I am in love, yes in love with all of your whites
and your displays. You know I love pink but also love white, it's a toss up between the two, some days I'm pink while others I'm white, silly me. Anyway, your treasures are
truly treasures, congratulations on still having all of these beauties. Merry Christmas to you and all of your lovely family and thank you for being a very special friend, I truly appreciate you. Christmas blessings...Lu

Hello Celestina, I'm sorry to say I do not have any of those country whites but I do love all of yours, except for the chamber pot. I'd pass on that one I think. I mentioned you in my last post and shared your Merry Mix recipe. Merry Christmas and Joyous Wishes, Linda
